Uncharted Seas

The Uncharted Seas game from Spartan Games is an absolute blast. It’s a fantasy naval combat game that is quick to play, fun to collecsrb001t and model, and a most worthy successor to the old Games Workshop Man O’ War game.

We saw the miniatures at Games Plus and were hooked on the quality of the resin casts and white metal parts. The designs are fun. Human ships are square-rigged cog/caravel hybrids; dwarves have ironclads; the dragon lords have wing-shaped sails and the orcs are cobbled-together floating barges. The new elf fleet features outriggers and catamarans.

Our first two games have been played to completion in three hours or so, with four starter fleets engaged. I will try to post some pictures of the ships in the next day or so.
